CORVALLIS – The Oregon State women’s basketball team moved up two spots in this week’s Associate Press poll, coming in at No. 7 the AP announced Monday. The ranking is tied for the highest in school history, matching the Beavers’ best position in the AP poll last season.
The USA Today/WBCA Coaches’ Poll, which had the Beavers ranked seventh last week, will be released tomorrow.
Oregon State has opened the season 3-0 for the third consecutive year, most recently earning a win over UC Riverside Sunday afternoon. All three of the Beavers’ victories this year have come by 20 points or more, including a 65-point win over Longwood in the season-opener.
