Beavers tough in upper weights

This is the third of a three-part series previewing the 2015-16 Oregon State wrestling team. Today we look at the 184- and 197-pound weight classes, and heavyweight.

The upper weight classes should be some of the strongest for the 2015-16 Oregon State wrestling team, even with the loss of All-American and four-time NCAA qualifier Taylor Meeks.

The Beavers return 184-pounder Corey Griego, the top redshirted freshman from the 2014-15 season; redshirt sophomore Cody Crawford, the 2015 Pacific-12 Conference champion at 197 pounds who won two matches at the NCAA tournament, and redshirt sophomore heavyweight Amarveer Dhesi, the 2014 Pac-12 runner-up and the winner of two matches at the 2014 NCAAs.
