BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Cecilee Max-Brown recorded a career-best 21 kills and led four Beavers in double figures in Oregon State's four-set win over Yale Friday evening.
For the Beavers, who improved to 3-2, it was a largely dominant performance against Yale, which moved to 0-2 with the loss. Set scores were 25-22, 25-20, 22-25 and 25-17.
The opening set was tightly contested early on with the Beavers holding a 9-8 lead as Max-Brown along with Maddie Goings got their offense going early. Yale used a 6-0 run to force an Oregon State timeout trailing 14-9.
