CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 18th-ranked Oregon State gymnastics team tied its season-high, scoring 196.825, but came up short against No. 3 UCLA before the 4,875 fans inside Gill Coliseum Saturday afternoon.
Kaitlyn Yanish won the floor exercise event title with a score of 9.950 and four OSU gymnasts set career-highs in the meet including Halli Briscoe, who posted a 9.950 on the uneven bars.
"We did a really good job of not getting down on ourselves early in the meet. We had a rough start on the vault and didn't stick anything and I know we can be better," acting head coach Michael Chaplin said.
