Beavers Tie School Home Run Record In Win

KEIZER, Ore. – Jeff Hendrix and KJ Harrison each hit two home runs to to pace the 19th-ranked Oregon State baseball team to a 20-0 win over Portland Wednesday at Volcanoes Stadium.

Kyle Nobach, Logan Ice and Joe Gillette all hit home runs as well to give the team seven on the night, tying the school record set most recently in 2001 against Washington. It was most orginally set in 2000 against Portland.

Hendrix hit a two-run home run in the fourth, followed by a solo shot in the sixth. Harrison followed Hendrix’s sixth-inning with a solo shot of his own, then drove in three more with a blast that hugged the foul line in left.
