LOWELL, Ore. – The Oregon State women's rowing team won three out of four races against Gonzaga Saturday morning at Dexter Reservoir. Crews from both teams raced hard in sunny and flat-water conditions.
The Beavers' Varsity 8, which now has wins in both of its races this spring, covered the 2,000-meter course in a time of 6-minutes, 30.1-seconds. The crew consisting of , , , , Paige Philips, , , and directed by , secured the squad's widest margin of victory over Gonzaga (6:37.0) of nearly seven seconds.
OSU's Second Varsity 8 held on for a four-second win to register its first win of the season.
