CORVALLIS – The No. 14 Oregon State women's basketball team earned a 73-43 victory over Western Washington, as the Beavers welcomed fans back to Gill Coliseum for an exhibition contest Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers will open the regular season on Friday when Loyola Marymount visits Gill Coliseum.
Oregon State held Western Washington to 21.1 percent shooting in the contest, and out-scored the Vikings 37-14 in the second half.
Ellie Mack led the Beavers with 14 points and six rebounds, shooting 6-for-7 from the floor. Talia von Oelhoffen recorded 11 points, five assists and two blocks, while Taylor Jones put up 10 points and pulled down five rebounds.
