Game 2 in the UCLA Series went a tough 8 innings before Adley Rutschman and the Beaver bats broke the game open to take a 7-3 win, and even series up 1-1. The Beavers are now 14-2-1 headed into the rubber match, which is tomorrow at 12:00 PM PT.
Bryce Fehmel opened the game up strong for the Beavers, ending the first inning quick, but in the bottom of the second a lead off double from Jack Stronarch and a beaned Jake Pries allowed the Bruins to put runners in scoring position. They got one home with a Fielder’s Choice from Matt McLain and a throwing error from Beau Philip to take a 1-0 lead.
