Corvallis, Ore. – Seniors Jamie Weisner, Ruth Hamblin and Deven Hunter combined for 37 points and 14 rebounds on Tuesday to lead Oregon State to a 75-51 victory over Cal State-Bakersfield before a Gill Coliseum crowd of 7,824 in OSU’s fifth annual Beavers Beyond the Classroom game.
Weisner had 14 points and four rebounds, Hamblin had 12 points and eight rebounds and Hunter added 11 points, two rebounds, and two assists and was 2-for-2 on 3-pointers in only 11 minutes as the No. 7-ranked Beavers (8-0) improved to 32-3 at Gill Coliseum over the last two-plus seasons before the third-largest crowd in school history.
