SEATTLE, Wash. – On Sunday morning, Oregon State men's rowing got third-place finishes from the Varsity and Junior Varsity 8 highlighting the 38th edition of the Head of the Lake Regatta in Seattle.
The Beavers were prepared for three entries into the Varsity 4, but poor weather conditions forced the organizers to cancel the regatta after just the 10th event of the day.
In the first event of the morning, Men's Collegiate Open 8, OSU's V8+ got off to a blistering start traversing the three-mile course in 15-minutes, 40.176 seconds, just over eight seconds behind second-place finisher Stanford (15:31.
