BOULDER, Colo. – Running back Jermar Jefferson and wide receiver Timmy Hernandez both eclipsed 1,000-yard marks as Oregon State picked up the first Pac-12 Conference win in the head coach Jonathan Smith era against Colorado on Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers (2-6, 1-4 Pac-12) defeated the Buffalos (5-3, 2-3 Pac-12) in overtime by a final score of 41-34.
Hernandez became the 31st Beaver to reach 1,000 career yards receiving, now sitting at 1,056 career yards. Jefferson is the eighth Beaver to gain 1,000 yards in a season. He finished the game with 135 yards, his fourth 100-yard plus game of the year.
