Beavers Out-Hit Huskies

SEATTLE, Wash. - The Oregon State softball team out-hit No. 20 Washington 10-7, but the Huskies took a 5-4 win on a walk-off Saturday evening in Seattle, Wash.

Oregon State (25-24, 5-17 Pac-12) held a 4-3 lead after five innings, but Washington (38-13, 9-9) scored a pair of late runs to take the victory. 

Senior CJ Chirichigno went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs and a run scored. Junior Mikela Manewa and freshman Lovie Lopez finished with two hits apiece, while senior Dani Gilmore notched the 207th hit of her career.

Junior Sammi Noland, senior Hannah Akamine and freshman McKenna Arriola each tallied a hit in the contest.
