Beavers Open Series With A Walkoff

CORVALLIS, Ore. – KJ Harrison's RBI single in the ninth inning sent the top-ranked Oregon State baseball team to a 4-3 win over No. 9 Arizona Friday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

Adley Rutschman reached on a fielder's choice, moved to second on a walk by Nick Madrigal and then third when Steven Kwan grounded out. That brought up Harrison, who singled up the middle on an 0-1 pitch from reliever Tylor Megill, who took the loss to drop to 0-2 on the year.

The win sent Oregon State to an 18-1 record on the season, matching the program's best start over 19 games, last achieved in 2013.
