The Oregon State men’s rowing team opens the 2015 fall season this Saturday and Sunday at the OCU Head of the Oklahoma Regatta.
The OCU Head of the Oklahoma includes 2.5 mile head racing during the day and 500m OGE NightSprints Saturday evening under permanent lights. This race includes junior, college and master rowers.
COURSE: The 2.5 mile head race course takes place on the Oklahoma River near downtown Oklahoma City. Competitors race in a counter-clockwise pattern with the starting line at the west end of the basin. The 500m OGE NightSprints course on the Oklahoma River is an adrenaline fueled sprint under the lights.
