AURORA, Ore. – The Oregon State women’s golf team had a solid start at the Rose City Collegiate on Monday, shooting an 8-over 584 to put them in third place and only three strokes out of the lead heading into the final round.
The Beavers shot a 6-over 294 in the morning and followed that with a 2-over 290 in the afternoon at the par-72, 6,057-yard Langdon Farms Golf Club. The 2-over 290 was the second-best afternoon score in the 15-team field.
San Francisco and Fresno State are tied for the lead after posting a 5-over 581 at the two-day, 54-hole event.
