Beavers in the NFL: Week 8

It appears the Derek Anderson era has ended in Buffalo. Buffalo’s offense struggled heavily against New England, though their defense managed to keep the game close. Down 18-6 in the fourth quarter, Anderson and the Bills looked like they were about to cut the game to one score. Anderson completed a 25 yard pass to Jason Croom for what looked like his first touchdown as a Bill, but an official review overturned the call, as Croom never completed the catch. Two plays later, Devin McCourty jumped in front of Anderson’s pass to Charles Clay, and ran the interception back for a touchdown, and just about putting the game away for the Pats

A couple series later, Anderson was sacked twice in a row, and after the second, was taken off the field with concussion-like symptoms.
