SAMMAMISH, Wash. – The Oregon State women’s golf team battled through 36 holes of play on Tuesday at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational and sits in ninth place in the 13-team field with 18 holes to play.
The Beavers shot an 11-over 299 in the morning round and an 18-over 306 in the afternoon at the par-72, 6,039-yard Sahalee Country Club to finish the day with a 29-over 605.
California jumped out to a 10-stroke lead after posting a 5-over 581. San Diego State is second with a 15-over 591 and host Washington is third with an 18-over 594.
