MAESTRE, Italy - The Oregon State women’s basketball team moved to 3-0 on its Italy trip, defeating Umana Reyer Venezia 67-51 Tuesday evening in Maestre.
“This was another good test for us,” said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. “It’s a good experience for us to play against a smart, savvy opponent like this. The first quarter was beautiful for us. We battled a little fatigue tonight, but we dug deep and we found our rhythm. It was a good night for us and I think we grew a lot.”
Oregon State hit on 46 percent of its shots in the game, while holding its opponent to 33 percent shooting.
