Lahaina, Hawai'i – The Oregon State women's basketball team opened the Maui Jim Maui Classic with a resounding 79-49 win over Idaho in Lahaina, Hawai'i.
"As we are settling in this team is gaining more and more confidence," said Oregon State head coach . "They're getting more and more comfortable, and the ball is moving more crisply. I think this team is growing up right in front of our eyes. Today had a lot of really good things in it, one of which was seeing the ball drop from deep."
Oregon State went 16-for-30 from 3-point range in the game, finishing two short of the program record for made 3-pointers.
