The NCAA announced their selections for the College Baseball Tournament Monday morning, and after an up and down season Oregon State managed to land a two seed. They’ll be headed to the Fort Worth Regional, hosted by sixth overall seed TCU, alongside three seed Dallas Baptist and 4 seed McNeese State.
The Beavers’ seeding is something of a surprise; after a rough end to the season many of the bracketology experts had dropped them down to a three seed. A strong RPI, along with finishing with a winning record in a very tough Pac-12, must have buoyed the Beavers with the selection committee.
