FRESNO, Calif. – The Oregon State softball team finished the Fresno State Invite on a high note, defeating Sacramento State 6-5 Sunday morning at Margie Wright Diamond. There were seven errors between the teams, which accounted for seven of the 11 runs.
Oregon State started the game, charging out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning after some well executed two-out hitting. The Beavers had runners on first and second with two outs before started the run. The freshman recorded a single up the middle, before and both hit back-to-back RBI singles. The Beavers tried to increase their lead further in the inning after loading the bases, but left them juiced.
