CORVALLIS, Ore. – The No. 20 Oregon State gymnastics team was on fire Saturday when it took on No. 3 UCLA. The Beavers crushed their previous season-high of 196.100, raising the bar to a hefty 197.450 despite falling to the Bruins, who tallied 197.900.
OSU notched season-high scores on each event en route to tying the sixth-highest score in Oregon State history at 197.450.
"We've been focusing on our bubble," head coach Tanya Chaplin said. "Our energy and what can we control? How are we feeling? We had several lineup changes today during warm-ups and we dealt with those things really well.
