BANDON, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team finished in third place at the Bandon Dunes Championship on Tuesday for its fourth top-5 placing of the season.
The Beavers concluded the three-day, 54-hole tournament with a 6-under 286-288-284--858 at the par-72, 6,893-yard Old MacDonald Course to finish third in the 16-team field.
Oregon State finished ahead of three teams ranked among the top 25 in the nation -- No. 12 Texas A&M, No. 21 Colorado and No. 23 Auburn -- and only a stroke back of No. 11 Texas Tech, which posted a 7-under 857.
