Beavers Finish Third against Cougars, Bruins

LOWELL, Ore. – The No. 18 Oregon State women’s rowing team raced to four third-place finishes Saturday against No. 7 Washington State and No. 17 UCLA.

“Today was a rough day of racing for us,” head coach Emily Ford said. “This team has much better races in it. We were pretty flat across the board. Hat’s off to Washington State and UCLA for putting together some great races. We’ll look forward to seeing them and the rest of the Pac-12 in two weeks.”

With OSU’s seniors racing on their home course for the final time of their careers, the Varsity 8 covered the 2,000-meter course in a time of 6:52.
