Oregon State sealed a weekend sweep of Long Beach State with a dominating 14-3 win Saturday afternoon. The victory should keep the Beavers near the top of the college baseball polls as the team takes a short break from Pac-12 play. Oregon State’s record now stands at 27-7
Wade Meckler was the first batter of the day for the Beavers, and immediately put Oregon State in front with a solo home run to left field. Travis Bazzana, Garret Forrester and TJ Wheeler then loaded the bases for the Beavers, and a fielder’s choice from Gavin Logan added another run.
