WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – The Oregon State men’s rowing team finished the season with its best racing of the weekend at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championships on Sunday. OSU’s Varsity 8 crew rowed to 21st overall while the Beavers’ Second Varsity and Third Varsity boats earned top 20 finishes.
“We saved our best races for the final day, every boat finished well in their respective finals,” interim head coach Gabe Winkler said. “It’s hard to see this group of seniors go. They are a great bunch of guys. But looking at how the JV and 3V rowed today, we have some hungry young guys for the future.
