Beavers Finalize Coaching Staff With Two New Hires

The Beavers have added two new assistants to their coaching staff, completing it just as the spring recruitment period is just starting to heat up. Michael Pitre, most recently Running Backs coach at Montana State will take the same job at Oregon State. Greg Burns, who most recently coached DBs at California, will handle OSU’s secondary. Mike Riley has also been confirmed to be coaching Tight Ends, in addition to his responsibilities as Assistant Head Coach.

Pitre was a member of the UCLA Offensive Line that blocked for Maurice Jones-Drew. After his playing career ended, he spent time as a high school coach and an intern in the New England Patriots organization before joining the University of Colorado as a graduate assistant.
