VANCOUVER, Wash. – The No. 13 Oregon State men's rowing team put forth a valiant effort but fell to No. 1 California in four races Sunday morning along the shores of Vancouver Lake.
Despite the result interim head coach Gabe Winkler said, “It was a good showing by our guys. It was kind of exciting to go against the No. 1 team in the country. We’ll see them again at Pac-12’s and (Cal) is most likely going to be in the hunt for the national championship. I’m proud of my guys for hanging in there as long as they did.
