LOWELL, Ore. – Oregon State’s women’s rowing team opened its spring season at Dexter Lake Saturday morning falling to No. 18 Gonzaga in five races.
OSU’s Varsity 8 raced in a tight competition with the Zags covering the 2,000-meter course in a time of 6-minutes, 41.02-seconds, coming in two and a half second behind the Bulldogs.
In the Second Varsity 8, it was once again Gonzaga crossing the finish in a time of 6:54.19 ahead of OSU, which finished in 7:08.16.
Gonzaga earned a win over Oregon State’s in the Varsity 4+ crossing the finish line nine seconds ahead 7:56.
