Beavers Fall to Golden Gophers

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State University football team took on the University of Minnesota Saturday night at Reser Stadium to close out the non-conference portion of the schedule.

The Beavers (1-2) fell to the Golden Gophers (2-0) 48-14.

David Morris finished the contest with 17 tackles, the first Beaver since Lance Mitchell to record at least 17 in a game. Mitchell ended the game against TCU on Sept. 4, 2010 with 18.

Ryan Nall moved further up the Oregon State record books, now sitting at 1,611 career rushing yards, only 11 away from surpassing Billy Main (1967-69) to move into 14th on the all-time list.
