Beavers Fall to Bulldogs

FRESNO, Calif. – The Oregon State wrestling team lost a nonconference dual on Thursday evening to Fresno State inside of Save Mart Center.

The Beavers (3-6, 1-1 Pac-12) fell to the Bulldogs (7-6, 3-3 Big 12) by a final score of 27-13.

Starting the night at 165 pounds, Aaron Olmos made the start after sitting out the last dual against Clackamas. Olmos trailed 2-1 early in the first period, but couldn't get any offense going losing by major decision, 11-3.

It was the Beavers who struck first at 174 pounds with Colt Doyle finishing a lengthy scramble early in the first period.
