LOS ANGELES – Camryn Ybarra logged her first career home run, but the No. 24 Oregon State softball team fell 7-5 to No. 4/4 UCLA on Monday afternoon inside Easton Stadium.
The Beavers fall to 19-13 overall on the season, and 2-4 in Pac-12 play. Meanwhile, UCLA improves to 28-2 overall and 4-2 in conference action.
OSU fell behind right from the get go as UCLA put two runs on the board in the first inning, and added five more in the subsequent inning. The Bruins led 7-0 after just two innings.
The Beavers began to claw their way back in the third inning.
