EUGENE, Ore. – Freshman put up 21 in her Civil War debut, but the No. 7 Oregon State women's basketball team fell to No. 4 Oregon 76-64 Friday evening in Eugene.
"That is a really good team," said Oregon State head coach . "It was a fun crowd and a fun atmosphere like we knew it would be. The bottom line was execution. They moved the ball freely for stretches, and we didn't hit shots in response. I'm pleased with the way that we battled back – we learned some things about ourselves tonight. This program is built on toughness and heart, and we hung in there to give ourselves a chance.
