CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State softball dropped the 1-0 series finale against No. 25 Stanford on Sunday afternoon at Kelly Field but not before the Beavers took the Pac-12 series. The Orange & Black drop to 25-8 overall, 2-4 Pac-12 and 6-2 in Corvallis.
Stanford compiled three of its five hits in the first frame to take the early 1-0 lead.
Oregon State looked to even or take the lead in the bottom half but stranded the bases loaded as got the offense started with a one-out single up the middle.
opened up the fourth with a walk but the Beavers couldn't make anything of it after the Cardinal starter retired the next three Beaver batters.
