PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – Freshman Mariah Mazon (Tulare, Calif.) toed the pitcher's plate for the No. RV/RV Oregon State University softball program on Sunday at the Big League Dreams Park and spun a one-hit, complete game shutout to cap the 2018 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic with a win over LIU Brooklyn, 4-0.
"It was a good day," said head coach Laura Berg. "We needed to get that one under our belt and have a win heading back to Corvallis. We have some work we need to do when we get back home.
