BERKELEY, Calif. – The Oregon State men's soccer team edged past California, 1-0, in Berkeley, Calif. on Thursday. The No. 15 ranked Beavers are now 7-1-1 on the season and 3-0-0 in Pac-12 play.
"I'm exceptionally proud of our group," said head coach Terry Boss. "Cal sat very low and made it difficult at times. Cal is a good team and hard to play at home. Our group showed a resilience to stay the course and were ultimately rewarded for their effort in the end."
Despite dominating possession in the first half and out-shooting the Golden Bears 12-0, the Beavers and Golden Bears were tied at 0-0 at the half.
