Oregon State defended their home court with a 66-62 win over Nevada. With the win the Beavers improve to 4-1 at home and 6-1 overall. The loss drop the Wolfpack to 1-3 on the road and 5-3 overall. The Beavers were lead by star Gary Payton ll who had 16 points, eight rebounds, two blocks, two steals and one assist. Malcolm Duvivier was the only other starter in double figures with 11. Oregon State bench played a big role as they added 25 points and 11 from guard Stephan Thompson Jr. The Wolfpack were lead by D.J. Fenner who had 24 points.
