Box Score PULLMAN, Wash. – Tres Tinkle scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Oregon State beat Washington State 85-77 on Saturday afternoon.
Stephen Thompson Jr. added 26 points for the Beavers (18-12, 10-8 Pac-12). Ethan Thompson scored 17 points with a career-high 11 assists and five rebounds and Kylor Kelley scored all 10 of his points in the second half.
With the win, Oregon State secured a first-round bye in the Pac-12 Tournament, which begins Wednesday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Oregon State wrapped up Pac-12 play at 10-8 for its first winning season in conference play since the 1989-90 team finished 15-3 and won a share of the Pac-10 title.
