CORVALLIS – Quarterback Conor Blount threw for 137 yards and two touchdowns as Oregon State battled Arizona in Reser Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers (1-2, 0-1 Pac-12) fell to the Wildcats (1-2, 1-0 Pac-12) by a final score of 35-14 in the 39th all-time meeting between the two schools.
Blount completed a career-high 17 passes in the loss with no interceptions. Safety Jalen Moore led the Beavers in tackles with a career-high 14 total tackles.
Arizona scored the first points of the game, going up 7-0 following a long rush from the Wildcats on their first offensive possession.
