STANFORD, Calif. – Oregon State wrestling failed to mount a comeback on Saturday afternoon, as the Beavers fell to the Cardinal of Stanford in a Pacific-12 Conference match, 21-15.
It was a tough start for the Beavers at Stanford, dropping four of the first five bouts. 157-pounder Hunter Willits dropped a 5-2 decision in the match opener. Rodney Williams lost at 165 pounds by technical fall.
174-pounder Myles Terry lost by major decision, before Bob Coleman lost an 11-6 decision at 184 pounds.
