Redshirt senior quarterback Jake Luton accounted for 88 yards on 19-of-28 passing while Jermar Jefferson and Artavis Pierce combined for 80 yards on the ground. Junior Isaiah Hodgins turned in 77 yards receiving on four receptions.
The Beavers struggled to find an offensive rhythm in a defensive-heavy first half and headed into the locker room trailing 10-0 as the two teams combined for only 103 yards in the opening stanza.
