CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State softball team fell, 5-2, in game two against No. 10 Arizona State, Saturday.
After notching three straight outs, including two strikeouts from senior pitcher Nerissa Eason, to start the game, the Beavers earned the first hit in the bottom of the first inning.
Junior Missy Nunes hit a line drive that dropped in the hole of right field to make it to first but Oregon State was unable to capitalize and left her on base.
In the second inning, OSU grabbed another three outs in three batters and a second hit.
