CORVALLIS, Ore. – Luke Heimlich won his 15th game to set the Oregon State single-season record and the Beavers' offense tallied 15 hits in a 14-1 win in front of a school-record 4,009 Saturday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.
Heimlich scattered six hits and a run in seven innings to improve to 15-1 this season, which leads the nation. He surpasses Scott Christman (1993), Andrew Moore (2013) and Jake Thompson (2017) as Oregon State pitchers to win 14 games.
He was backed by an offense that posted six extra-base hits and drew nine walks.
