Beavers Defeat Portland, Win 20th Straight

Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. – Adley Rutschman drove home two with a sixth-inning pinch hit single and Brandon Eisert struck out nine in 3 1/3 innings to send the top-ranked Oregon State baseball team to a 4-3 win over Portland Tuesday night at Joe Etzel Field.

The win extended Oregon State's win streak to 20 games, tying Missouri for the longest in the nation this season. The Beavers improved to 25-1 overall, and 16-1 in non-conference games.

Rutschman pinch hit for Zak Taylor in the sixth, driving the first pitch he saw from reliever Grady Miller to left.
