Corvallis, Ore. – Oregon State’s January resurgence continued on Saturday afternoon as the No. 23 Beavers crushed unranked Wyoming 32-7 before a crowd of 667 at Gill Coliseum.
The Beavers (5-4) won 8 of 10 matches and scored eight bonus points on two falls and two major decisions. The victory also avenged a 21-17 loss to the Cowboys in Laramie in 2015, OSU’s only regular-season setback.
Redshirt sophomore Cody Crawford (197) started the match with a pin and the Beavers were off and running. They led 20-0 before the Cowboys (1-5) broke through at 141 and 159 with their lone wins of the afternoon.
