SARASOTA, Fla. – All three Oregon State women's rowing boats will head to C/D semi-finals on Saturday, as the Beavers competed in day one of the NCAA Rowing Championships Friday in Sarasota, Fla.
The Oregon State Varsity 8 is slated for the third semi-final Saturday morning. The Beavers' top boat opened its day by placing third in its heat with a time of 6:25.8, qualifying for the afternoon repechage. The group proceeded to finish 3rd again in the afternoon, clocking in at 6:19.8 – less than a second behind second-place Virginia, who advanced to the A/B semi-final.
