CORVALLIS, Ore. – Senior threw all but one out, struck out six and homered for the third time in game-two of the Utah series on Friday morning as Oregon State softball defeated the Utes, 3-1, to clinch the Pac-12 series at Kelly Field.
The Beavers (33-18, 9-14 Pac-12) defeated the Utah Utes (26-27, 8-15 Pac-12) and clinched the final regular season series and their fourth of the season. Oregon State will go for the sweep tomorrow at 12 p.m. PT at Kelly Field but not before honoring Mazon prior to first pitch on Senior Day.
Freshmen and led the offense with two hits apiece while Escobar added a run scored.
