SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The Oregon State women's cross country team finished fifth overall as a team with 170 points at the Dellinger Invite, hosted by Oregon in Springfield, Ore. on Thursday. Redshirt sophomore Grace Fetherstonhaugh notched a tenth-place finish and was the first Beaver across the finish line.
"Sort of a mixed feeling about this race. We were good up front with Grace Fetherstonhaugh and Kaylee Mitchell and I thought they ran tremendously, but I think we executed poorly today. Part of it was we didn't trust getting out and we were a little too patient," said head coach Louie Quintana.
