COLFAX, Wash. – Highlighted by Lexi Reed's 28th place finish, the Oregon State Cross Country team made its run to nationals during the NCAA West Regionals on Friday in Colfax, Wash.
Facing wet and windy conditions, the Beavers ran to a seventh place finish at Colfax Golf Club. Oregon State faced a talented field of nationally ranked teams out of the West Region including No. 2 Stanford, No. 4 Washington, No. 13 Boise State, No. 19 Oregon and No. 30 California Baptist.
The Beavers came into the event ranked No. 7 in the West Region and looked to improve on their team score after racing to their highest regional finish in program history last season with a sixth place finish.
