MONMOUTH, Ore. – Redshirt sophomore Lexy Hayes and redshirt freshman Isabella Ayala represented the Oregon State University women's cross country team at the Ash Creek Invite, hosted by Western Oregon in Monmouth, Ore. on Friday.
"It was really a solid run for Lexy and Isabella. It's not an easy course, it's got thick, rutted grass, so the course runs slow, but I was pleased with their results," said head coach Louie Quintana, "It was definitely Lexy's best cross country race ever, which is encouraging. Isabella is coming off of a summer injury, so it was great just to have her lining up.
